Girl Scouts and Robotics

First Team 1764: Liberty Robotics members visited with a local Girl Scout Troop. The purpose was to help the girls earn their Robotics Badge. Robotics members demonstrated the team robot, let the girls drive VEX robots, and worked together on crafts related to robotics.

4th Annual Trivia Event to Benefit Liberty Robotics

The annual trivia fundraiser to support Liberty Robotics is just around the corner. Always a great time, always a great way to help fund the Team 1764 and the Liberty Robotics Foundation.

Shoal Creek Elementary

The Liberty High & Liberty North High Robotics Team 1764 along with the Liberty Robotics Foundation are hosting the annual Robot Faire and Gary Crossley Ford Drive One event for students and families Saturday, September 17 at Shoal Creek Elementary from 9am-3pm.

The entire day is geared toward raising funds to support Team 1764 during its upcoming competition season.  

Robot Faire

The Robot Faire is perfect fun for kids from preschool to middle school.  Kids will build and race their own brushbots, compete with VEX robots, enjoy robot and 3D printer demos, meet the high school robotics team and more.

Drive One Event

The Gary Crossley Ford Drive One event is a fun way to check out the newest cars and raise money for Team 1764.  So, while your students are busy in the Robot Faire, step outside and test drive a new car.

For each test drive, Gary Crossley Ford will donate $20 to Team 1764.   Also, have a free safety check done on your vehicle – and another $10 is donated.


Food will be available to purchase from Twisted Tater Food Truck and Sheridan’s.

Two Robotics Summer Camps Set for 2016!

The Liberty Robotics Foundation and Liberty Robotics Team 1764 are hosting two robotics summer camps this year.



May 31st – June 3rd, 2016
9am – 3pm

Liberty High School, Liberty MO

Camp Fee: $100 per student

In this 4-day long summer camp, students will research needs and how to design an app to support that need. This may be an individual or in teams of students. Students will learn to use some basic app development software and investigate the process of taking an app to market.
The camp is open to all incoming 6th-8th grade students from any district.

Camp fee includes a t
-shirt and pizza on the final day of camp (bring lunch the first three days). 
Showcase competition the last day of camp, spectators and parents are welcome.


June 6th – 10th, 2016
9am – 3pm

Using problem solving skills, creativity and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics skills students working in teams will construct, program and compete with a Vex robot.  Supplies and programming software will be provided. 
This camp is open to all incoming 6th – 12th grade students from any district.  
Camp fee includes a t-shirt and pizza on the final day of camp (bring lunch the first four days).

Competition will be the last day of camp, spectators and parents are welcome.

Annual Trivia Night a Success!

The Liberty Robotics Foundation held its 3rd annual trivia night November 8th, 2015 at the Belvoir Winery in the historic OddFellows Home in Liberty, Missouri.

Each year the LRF hosts a trivia night to raise general funds to support the robotics programs in the Liberty school district.

Like before this year’s event had great food, great fun and great trivia!  Due to the strong response, we’ll be expanding the event in 2016!
